Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to officiate the closing ceremony of the 14th Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agro-Tourism Exhibition (MAHA 2026) tomorrow at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS) in Serdang, Selangor [1, 2, 3].
Anwar is set to arrive at 10:30 a.m. and will deliver the Closing Address at Hall D2, followed by performing the official Closing Gimmick of the exhibition [1, 2, 3]. The ceremony is expected to conclude at around 12 noon after the presentation of Agro Awards and a visit by the Prime Minister to the exhibition site [1, 2, 3].
Two Deputy Prime Ministers and Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, are also scheduled to attend the event [1, 2, 3].
MAHA 2026 is a 10-day event held from August 28 to September 6. It serves as the main platform for Malaysia’s agricultural sector to showcase innovation, technology, and business opportunities. The exhibition gathers industry players, entrepreneurs, investors, government agencies, as well as research and higher education institutions [1, 2, 3].
Approximately 2,000 exhibitors are participating this year, representing various areas of agriculture, horticulture, and agro-tourism [3].
The closing ceremony tomorrow will mark the culmination of the 14th edition of MAHA, which has been held continuously as a key event supporting Malaysia’s agro-food industry [1, 2, 3].
