However, passengers travelling between Ampang and Sentul Timur will need to make a single train transfer at Chan Sow Lin Station, which will add about five minutes to travel time during peak hours [1, 2].
To support passengers during this adjustment, Rapid KL has deployed support staff at key stations to ensure smooth journeys, especially anticipating higher passenger volumes after the long holiday period [1, 2].
In addition, ten free feeder shuttle buses will run along two main routes: Chan Sow Lin–Masjid Jamek–Bandaraya, and Chan Sow Lin–Maluri–Pandan Jaya–Ampang. These shuttles will operate every 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions [1, 2].
The repair efforts involved moving and rerailing the affected train, with all carriages taken to the depot for thorough inspection and evaluation. The engineering and technical teams completed component replacements, system restorations, and comprehensive inspections of train assets and infrastructure [1, 2].
