Rapid KL announced an extension of the free travel period on the LRT3 Shah Alam Line until August 14, 2026. The free travel offer includes rides on LRT3 trains, feeder and shuttle buses, and Park N’ Ride facilities at participating stations [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had announced the initial free fare period during the Shah Alam LRT3 launching ceremony on June 28. The free rides began the following day and were initially scheduled to last until July 31 [1, 2, 3, 5].

On July 31, Rapid KL announced the free rides would continue until August 14 to further enable public adoption and familiarity with the transit line [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. Rapid KL expressed gratitude to the public, saying, "We greatly appreciate your support" [4].
