Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said Penang may suspend certain outdoor activities, including at schools, if API levels reach more critical unhealthy thresholds. "If it reaches a more critical level, I think an advisory will have to be given to stop or suspend certain activities. For example, certain schools may have to suspend outdoor activities," Chow said [1]. He added some schools might postpone outdoor events depending on evolving conditions [5].
