Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin said, "The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) takes seriously all forms of drug abuse and trafficking, including when they involve any premises or personnel within the policing environment" [3]. Datuk Mohd Alwi further detailed that police found 16 plastic packets suspected to contain methamphetamine weighing approximately 109.54 grams, 16 packets suspected to contain heroin weighing 110.37 grams, and 23 packets containing dried leaves suspected to be cannabis weighing 142.31 grams [1].
All three arrested individuals have been remanded for seven days from August 12 to August 18, 2026, under Sections 39B and 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 to aid investigations [1, 2, 3].
