Singapore will stage the Mizuho Blue Challenge – The Kallang Football Series at the National Stadium from November 13 to 17, 2026, featuring four matches with Brazil, Japan, Paraguay, and the Singapore national team [1, 2, 3, 4, 5].

The friendlies open on November 13, with Singapore facing Paraguay. On November 14, Brazil will play Japan, followed by a doubleheader on November 17 where Singapore plays Brazil and Japan faces Paraguay [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. Ticket prices start at S$28 for the Singapore vs Paraguay opener, and from S$98 for the Brazil vs Japan match and the doubleheader day. Tickets go on sale via The Kallang's website at noon on September 4, 2026 [1, 3, 4].

Brazil comes into the series ranked fifth by FIFA, Japan 17th, and Paraguay 34th. Paraguay notably defeated Germany in the round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup [1, 2, 3, 4]. These matches fall within the official FIFA international window [2, 3, 4, 5].

Singapore’s head coach Gavin Lee described the games as "invaluable" for preparation ahead of the AFC Asian Cup scheduled from January 7 to February 5, 2027. He said, "These kinds of matches are invaluable to us because they test us and show us where we are and, more importantly, where we still need to improve. We’ve made good progress, but there’s still a lot of work ahead of us, and every game we play now is about helping us prepare for the Asian Cup" [1, 2, 3, 4].

Prior to the friendlies, Singapore will compete in the inaugural FIFA ASEAN Cup from September 24 to October 3 against Indonesia, Malaysia, and either India or Bangladesh—sources disagree on the invited side [1, 3, 4].

The Mizuho Blue Challenge is supported by Mizuho Financial Group and marks 60 years of Singapore-Japan diplomatic ties. Daryl Yeo from The Kallang Group said the event "represents a significant milestone in The Kallang Group’s growth as we evolve from operating venues to creating world-class event properties that Singapore can proudly call its own" [5]. The Kallang Group and Dentsu Sports International are organizing the tournament [1, 2, 3, 4, 5].

Ticket sales will begin at 12pm tomorrow, September 4, 2026, through The Kallang's official website [1, 3, 4].
