Alienware announced the AW3926QW, a 39-inch super ultrawide gaming monitor using a new RGB stripe OLED panel technology. The monitor offers a resolution of 5120x2160 pixels with a 1500R curvature and peak brightness of 1,300 nits, supporting Dolby Vision, Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro [1, 2].
The RGB stripe panel features vertically aligned red, green, and blue subpixels, which reduce color fringing and improve text sharpness without sacrificing color accuracy or vividness. Alienware stated the AW3926QW is "the world's first 39-inch 5K OLED monitor featuring RGB stripe tech" [1, 2].
The monitor can refresh at 330Hz when running at 1080p resolution and up to 165Hz at the full 5K resolution. It includes a built-in KVM switch, DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), and a 10Gbps USB-C upstream port with 90W power delivery. Additional USB-A and USB-C downstream ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack are also provided [1, 2].
Alongside the AW3926QW, Alienware revealed the AW3426DW, a 34-inch QD-OLED display with a 280Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and a 1500R curve [1].
Alienware did not announce pricing for the AW3926QW but indicated it will be a premium product. The AW3926QW is expected to become available in late June 2026, with the AW3426DW scheduled to launch in July [1, 2].
