Marvel Studios revealed the cast of its upcoming X-Men film at Disney's D23 fan event in Anaheim, California, held yesterday. The main cast includes Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm, and Adam Driver as Mr. Sinister. Frozen 3 was also showcased at the event with first-look footage featuring Anna’s wedding and the introduction of a new female antagonist. The storyline centers on a mysterious threat arriving on the night of Anna and Kristoff’s wedding, linked to the Northern Lights. The film will include a new song for Olaf titled "Ooooh, Samantha," suggesting the character gains a love interest named Samantha. Frozen 3 is set for theatrical release on November 24, 2027 [1, 3].
Kristen Bell commented, "Doesn't it feel like the world of Frozen is a bit different?" while Idina Menzel described the film as “going on their biggest journey yet.” Josh Gad performed the new Olaf song during the event [1, 3].
Additional announcements at D23 included Disney+’s VisionQuest miniseries scheduled for release on October 14. Pixar’s The Incredibles 3 is planned for summer 2028, and Coco 2 is slated for November 2029. A Kingdom Hearts animated series is also in development [1].
