Samsung Display is expected to supply the OLED panels, similar to the original Switch OLED model. Despite OLED’s superior HDR and color performance, the current Switch 2 uses an LCD screen to help manage costs. If development proceeds, Nintendo could begin product development by the end of 2026, with mass production planned for late 2027 or early 2028.
