Four women have accused Jared Leto of criminal sexual conduct, including sexual assault, statutory rape, and grooming, with incidents occurring while they were teenagers from 2002 to 2016. Several describe receiving strange, sexually charged phone calls as minors. One woman, 14 at the time, says Leto made a lewd comment during an autograph signing and later had a security guard take her backstage at a music festival; her mother confronted him but he repeated the comment. Two former staffers from Leto's band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, said they observed staff discomfort over Leto inviting teenage girls backstage and to his recording house.
