Manchester City have reached an agreement with Palmeiras to sign 22-year-old Brazilian winger Allan Elias for an initial £32 million, plus up to around £2 million in add-ons, bringing the total value up to £34.2 million (€37.5m–40m depending on sources) as of August 24, 2026 [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6].
Allan Elias, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, joined Palmeiras' youth academy in 2019 and made his senior debut in January 2025[s2,s3,s4,s5,]. He has appeared 96 times for Palmeiras, scoring nine goals and providing 12 assists. Allan was part of the squad that won the São Paulo Campeonato Paulista in both 2024 and 2026 [2, 3, 4, 5].
The transfer is expected to trigger the departure of another Brazilian winger, Savinho, who is set to move from Manchester City to Tottenham Hotspur [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6].
In parallel, Manchester City are in advanced talks to sell midfielder Nico González to Newcastle United for a fee reportedly around £50 million. González joined City in January 2025 for a fee near £49.8 million [1, 3, 6].
Other potential transfers include the possible sale of Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush to Tottenham and the signing of Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi by Manchester City.
